IECU NEWS - June 2021 Major Events

Dear friends,

I am happy to inform that the preparation of the Major events in Sweden and Spain are going full steam ahead.

We are sure that we will have, finally, a fantastic international competition, taking all necessary precautions due to the actual situation.




OPEN WEEK and WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RAA - SWEDEN

Over 100 sailors already entered for the Open Week, many of them are not members of their National Team meaning that they are sailing the OW to qualify for the Worlds.

About 110 sailors entered the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. We hope to have 20 - 30 more sailors qualifying from the Open Week, so it will be a big event !!! Weekly information will be posted on the website https://ecwc2021.se/ and on social nets. About Covid Restrictions, note that as it is TODAY the information we have is that you need a negative covid test (Antigen test, PCR test, LAMP test, or TMA test). Citizens from Nordic Countries ( DEN, NOR, FIN and Iceland ) are EXEMPT of this requirement. We hope that from 1st July, this requirements will be reduced ( at least for full vaccinated persons ). Entry is now open and it's important that the sailors will start registering for the Event.

ENTRY LIMIT IS 1st JULY !!!
